About the Role The DeFi Portfolio Associate will support decentralized finance investment research, digital asset portfolio analysis, and the evaluation of blockchain-based financial opportunities. The role combines quantitative market research, portfolio performance monitoring, on-chain analytics, and risk assessment to identify investment opportunities across decentralized financial ecosystems. Working with technology, research, and strategy professionals, the associate will analyze DeFi protocols, evaluate digital asset allocations, and develop data-driven insights to support informed portfolio decisions.

This position offers exposure to cryptocurrency investment strategies, decentralized liquidity markets, AI-driven financial analytics, and emerging Web3 technologies within a technology-focused consulting environment.

What You'll Do





- Analyze decentralized finance portfolios, digital asset allocations, investment performance, and risk-adjusted returns
- Research DeFi protocols, decentralized exchanges, lending platforms, staking mechanisms, and yield-generating strategies
- Monitor cryptocurrency markets, liquidity pools, token valuations, and on-chain activity to identify emerging investment opportunities
- Evaluate portfolio diversification, asset allocation, rebalancing strategies, and decentralized finance risk exposure
- Assess smart contract vulnerabilities, protocol sustainability, tokenomics, and liquidity risks across blockchain ecosystems
- Prepare portfolio performance reports, DeFi market research summaries, financial models, and investment recommendations
- Collaborate with AI, technology, and research teams to explore automated portfolio analytics, predictive modeling, and data-driven investment frameworks

What We're Looking For

- 2+ years of experience in cryptocurrency research, portfolio analysis, decentralized finance, investment management, or related financial markets
- Strong understanding of blockchain technology, DeFi protocols, digital asset markets,



and cryptocurrency investment fundamentals
- Experience with portfolio analysis, asset allocation, financial modeling, liquidity assessment, and investment risk management
- Familiarity with decentralized exchanges, lending protocols, staking, liquidity pools, tokenomics, and on-chain analytics platforms
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with proficiency in Excel, Dune, DeFiLlama, or similar tools; Python, SQL, or machine learning experience is an advantage
- Excellent research, communication, and problem-solving abilities, with the capacity to work independently and collaborate in a remote environment
- Degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Business, or a related discipline preferred; practical DeFi participation or personal cryptocurrency investment experience is an advantage

Compensation

EUR 105,000–135,000 per year in proposed gross base salary, depending on experience and qualifications.
