2026 is an important year for Hatstore. Following our first international store launch, we’re taking the next step in our retail expansion and opening a new store in Barcelona.

Since launching in 2011, we’ve grown into one of Northern Europe’s leading e-commerce retailers for caps and headwear. Now we’re continuing to develop Hatstore as a brand and a place to meet, both offline and online. With our store in Barcelona, we want to create an inspiring destination for caps, fashion and a great customer experience.

For this exciting chapter, we’re looking for an entrepreneurial, driven and hands-on Store Manager who wants to help build our presence in Barcelona from the very beginning.

Hatstore was founded on a genuine passion for caps, creativity and innovation—and those are still what drive us forward.

Today, we have more than 100 employees and sell to customers in 55 countries. Our range includes tens of thousands of caps, beanies and hats, including the option to create custom designs.

Our international retail expansion is an important part of Hatstore’s continued growth. We’re now looking for someone who wants to help make Barcelona an important part of our international store expansion.

Your role as Store Manager

As Store Manager of our new store in Barcelona, you’ll play a key role in establishing and developing Hatstore in the Spanish market.

You’ll be responsible for the store’s day-to-day operations, building and leading your team, and ensuring our customers have an experience that reflects the Hatstore brand.

You’ll also work closely with our head office in Sweden and be an important link between the local business and our international team.

This is an opportunity to be involved from the start,



influence the way we work and lay the foundations for future Hatstore stores in other markets.

Your Responsibilities

Store launch & development

Take part in planning, launching and developing our new store in Barcelona.

Leadership & team

Recruit, onboard, develop and motivate the store team, and build a strong team culture.

Sales & Customer Experience

Ensure a high level of service, create an inspiring store environment and actively work towards the store’s sales targets.

Store operations & merchandise flow

Take responsibility for day-to-day operations, stock, merchandise flow, inventory and orders.

Building the brand locally

Help build Hatstore’s local brand through social media, partnerships, events and other creative initiatives.

Budget & performance follow-up

Manage the store’s budget and key performance indicators, and monitor and report results to our head office in Sweden.

We believe you

- Have experience in retail, for example as a Store Manager, shop manager, team leader or in a similar role
- Are a natural leader who enjoys developing people and building teams
- Have a strong customer focus and understand what makes a great in-store experience
- Are entrepreneurial, solution-oriented and used to taking responsibility
- Enjoy working hands-on and are ready to roll up your sleeves when needed
- Have a good understanding of retail and the local market in Barcelona
- Are comfortable with social media and enjoy creating content and building a brand




- Are proficient in English, as you’ll work closely with our head office in Sweden
- Are proficient in Spanish; Catalan language skills are an advantage
- Have a genuine interest in caps, fashion, sport and streetwear

You’re also someone who gets things done. You’re sociable, down-to-earth and confident in your leadership. You enjoy meeting people and building relationships, while also being clear and direct when needed.

An interest in American sports is an advantage, as a large part of our range is connected to MLB, NBA, NHL and NFL.
