This is an incredible opportunity to join a company that has been at the forefront of AI and high-performance data storage innovation for over two decades. Our client is a general leader in AI and multi-cloud data management at scale, helping customers run some of the world’s most demanding AI and data-intensive environments.

About the role

We are seeking a Credit & Collections Analyst to support our global accounts receivable team. Reporting to the Global Credit & Collections Manager, you will own collections for an assigned customer portfolio, carry out credit reviews, and produce the AR reporting the team relies on. You will join as Finance moves to Workday, and will help test, migrate and run the new Order-to-Cash (O2C) processes.

Responsibilities

- Collections: Manage collections for an assigned portfolio of international customers. Follow up on overdue invoices by email and phone, and work towards team DSO and CEI targets.
- Credit Reviews: Prepare credit assessments for new and existing customers using financial statements, credit agency reports and payment history. Recommend credit limits for the Manager’s approval, in line with the Global Credit Policy.
- Disputes and Cash Application: Investigate and resolve billing disputes, short payments and unapplied cash with Sales, Billing and Customer Operations. Escalate complex cases to the Manager.
- Reporting: Produce weekly and month-end AR reporting: aging analysis, DSO, collections forecast and key account updates. Support the month-end close and the bad debt reserve calculation.
- Workday Implementation: Take part in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for the Credit and AR modules. Cleanse and validate customer master and credit data ahead of migration. Test new automated dunning workflows and help write process documentation.
- Account Maintenance: Keep customer credit files, account notes and collection records accurate and audit-ready. Prepare information for collection agency referrals and credit insurer reporting.

Required skills

- Experience: 1–4 years in credit, collections or accounts receivable, ideally with international or multi-currency customers.
- Systems: Hands-on experience with an ERP system. Exposure to Workday, or to an ERP migration or UAT, is an advantage.
- Excel and Data: Strong Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups) and comfort working with large AR data sets.
- Financial Knowledge: Working knowledge of AR accounting, including cash application, credit notes and the allowance for doubtful accounts.
- Communication: Clear, professional communication with customers and internal teams, and the persistence to follow issues through to resolution.
- Organisation: Able to manage a portfolio, prioritise by risk and value, and meet month-end deadlines.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or Economics, or equivalent experience. Working towards a credit qualification (e.g. CBA, CCP or CICM) is a plus.
