The Region Marketing Manager will be responsible for developing and executing the downstream strategic marketing plan to drive awareness, engagement, and adoption of BVI's ophthalmic surgical portfolio
- including cataract, glaucoma, and retina—in their assigned market. This role will lead local product launch initiatives, customer segmentation efforts, P2P programs, and promotional campaigns, working cross-functionally with Global Product Marketing, Sales, Training, KOL Engagement, and Marketing Operations. This individual will act as the local marketing expert and a strategic partner to the Sales organization, ensuring commercial success and alignment with BVI's global strategy

Key Responsibilities
Serve as the in-market marketing lead for downstream initiatives, including campaign execution, lead generation, and sales enablement. Partner with Sales leadership to ensure alignment of marketing initiatives with commercial goals and field execution. Identify, engage, and manage relationships with local KOLs and clinical champions.



Plan and execute local congress participation and society partnerships to build BVI brand awareness and reputation. Collaborate with general marketing teams to ensure consistency and localization of global campaigns and messaging. Analyze business performance, customer feedback, and competitive landscape to inform strategy and adapt tactics. Manage local marketing budget and ensure appropriate resource allocation Working within a hybrid working model, to be based out of the Barcelona office 1-2 days per week. Advanced in Microsoft Office suite of applications. MINIMUM REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE College degree in Marketing or a related business field is required. Minimum 5 years of progressive commercial experience within ophthalmology i. Advanced in Microsoft Office suite of applications. Proficient in English, Italian, and Spanish.
