We’re hiring: Principal Systems Engineer Are you an experienced Systems Engineer looking to play a leading role in the development of advanced avionics systems and equipment?Mercury is looking for a Principal Systems Engineer to take technical responsibility for system-level specifications, architecture and the detailed design of computing solutions. You’ll contribute throughout the full project lifecycle, from initial specification and bid activity through to verification, qualification, certification and production transition.
In this role, you will: Define system requirements, architecture and detailed designsAnalyse customer specifications and translate them into clear internal requirementsSupport system integration, validation, verification and qualificationAct as a technical authority during project deliveryProduce the technical evidence,



assessments and documentation required by each projectSupport customer discussions, project reviews and certification milestonesEstimate, plan and report on systems engineering activitiesContribute technical expertise to RFI and RFP activitiesManage defined supplier work packagesSupport related areas including software development, embedded video and system verificationWe’re looking for someone with strong expertise in systems engineering, together with relevant experience in one or more of the following areas:Software developmentEmbedded videoSystem verificationAvionics systems or equipment development
