As a Custom Software Developer in Roche’s RDT Engineering Excellence u0026amp; Experience, you build and maintain scalable digital solutions that support global healthcare innovation. You work in cross-functional agile squads, blending hands-on full-stack development with disciplined engineering. You influence the software delivery lifecycle from concept through automated deployment and operational excellence. Your work helps accelerate healthcare outcomes and aligns with Roche’s mission to improve access to healthcare worldwide.
Compensaciones / Ventajas
• Design, build, and maintain resilient microservices and responsive web apps using Java and modern web tools (Angular, TypeScript, JavaScript, CSS)
• Apply Test-Driven Development alongside automated and manual testing
• Design and optimize PostgreSQL schemas and queries; manage data handling via template frameworks
• Execute end-to-end delivery with CI/CD pipelines (GitHub) and DevOps tooling; shell scripting
• Support technical feasibility studies, refine requirements, and align with CSV guidelines
• Leverage AI-assisted development tools (GitHub Copilot, Claude) to speed delivery; participate in xghoner code reviews and Communities of Practice
Responsabilidades
• Java and Python development experience
• Frontend experience with Angular, TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS
• Strong SQL and PostgreSQL experience; RESTful microservices
• Experience with TDD and automated/unit/integration testing; clean code
• Git workflows and Linux/Bash automation
