Experteer Overview As Senior Design Systems Designer, you own the Suitcase design system and guide its visual language, tokens, and foundations. You’ll collaborate with front-end engineers, content designers, and product teams to raise the system to a consumer-grade, accessible standard across web and mobile. You will shape adoption, governance, and parity with code, AI prototyping tools, and WCAG 2.2 AA conformance. You’ll lead with design and engineering leadership to deliver a scalable, cohesive product experience across platforms.Compensaciones / Incentivos
- Set the direction for Suitcase with design and engineering leadership and translate the vision into a roadmap
- Own the visual language, token architecture, and foundations (typography, colour, space, motion, interaction states)
- Collaborate with content design and localisation on content tokens
- Design, document, and refine components with complete states, variants, platform coverage, and usage guidance
- Write component specs readable by AI prototyping tools to ensure prototypes use real components and tokens
- Ensure WCAG 2.2 AA conformance in new components and reviews
- Define adoption, component health, accessibility, and Figma-to-code parity measures with engineering




- Manage the contribution governance model for components between experimental and core layers
- Champion Suitcase across Builders and coach teams on usage and contributionResponsabilidades
- Strong product design experience with scaling design systems for web and mobile
- Deep grasp of typography, colour, layout, motion, and micro-interactions
- Judgement on when to create new components vs reuse existing ones
- Experience designing and maintaining token systems, including naming, theming, and Figma-to-code workflows; working knowledge of HTML, CSS and JavaScript
- Experience designing components for WCAG 2.2 AA standards (keyboard and screen-reader behavior)
- Experience prototyping with AI tools and with Storybook, Code Connect and MCP tooling
- Ability to persuade non-designers from problem to decision to outcome
- Clear opinion on quality and ability to defend trade-offs
- Experience using user research, support and sales insights to shape outcomes and roadmap
- Experience integrating or consolidating design systems and considering localization in componentsRequisitos principales
