Senior Accountant | Business Services & Advisory Permanent full-time | One WFH day per week Created through expansion, this position combines hands-on preparation, direct client communication and tax planning support. The role suits an established Senior who can work proactively, manage deadlines and budgets, and identify issues that need further attention. Preparing financial statements, tax returns and compliance work across companies, trusts, partnerships and individuals Supporting tax planning and identifying opportunities to improve client outcomes Participating in client meetings and preparing analysis for advisory discussions Completing jobs within agreed deadlines and budgets Providing technical guidance to junior colleagues Our client is an established accounting and advisory practice offering business advisory, wealth management and lending services. Clients span industries including construction, hospitality and professional services, alongside complex local and international groups. Some structures involve * companies, providing exposure to connected entities, investments and detailed tax considerations. Business advisory operates through dedicated teams, with local accountants and offshore support working together. Separate personal tax and SMSF divisions provide specialist services across the broader practice. Systems include Xero, Xero Practice Manager, FYI Docs, BGL and a purpose-built reporting dashboard. Strong capability in financial statement and tax return preparation The ability to manage competing deadlines and work within job budgets A collaborative approach and willingness to support junior colleagues Experience with Xero, XPM and FYI Docs will be highly regarded.
