Experteer Overview As a Senior Software Platform Integration Engineer, you will lead the CoC's computing platforms strategy, delivering robust, certifiable software artifacts for multisystem platforms. You will drive integration, standardization and architecture evolution for embedded software in safety-critical avionics. You’ll collaborate across design offices to enable reuse and achieve compliance with DO-178C up to DAL-A. The role combines hands-on platform bring-up, certification support, and rapid prototyping on reference boards. - Drive software platform integration and standardization across multisystem computing platforms.
- Elicit, maintain and validate Software Requirements Specifications for onboard safety-critical computers.
- Lead design and Vu0026V activities adhering to RTCA DO-178C up to DAL-A.
- Define complete software platform architectures including partitioning, scheduling, and resource allocation.
- Develop and promote common APIs and standardized access to platform support software (RTOS, BSP, drivers, middleware).
- Architect and implement new capabilities for embeddable solutions (secure math functions, file system services, time/logging).




- Co-own the platform software certification process with certification authorities.
- Support technology assessment, benchmarking and rapid prototyping on reference boards; assist board bring-up for multicore targets.Responsabilidades
- Advanced proficiency in C for real-time embedded systems.
- Experience with GNU toolchains and modern/legacy compilers (GCC, Clang/LLVM, Diab).
- Strong background in ARM, PowerPC or x86 and SoC architectures; knowledge of MMUs, caches, memory hierarchies, pipelining.
- Expert knowledge of avionics data buses (ARINC-429, MIL-STD-1553B, CAN) and modern networks (AFDX, TSN); analog/discrete I/O experience.
- Experience with low-speed peripherals (UART, SPI, I2C) and high-speed interconnects (PCIe); DMA expertise.
- Advanced knowledge of safety-critical RTOS and ARINC-653; hands-on with COTS solutions (Wind River VxWorks 653, PikeOS, Green Hills Integrity, DEOS).
- In-depth knowledge of RTCA DO-178C and RTCA DO-330.
- Python for automation (CI/CD, hardware setup) and data serialization (JSON, XML).Requisitos principales
