Part-time Paraprofessional (Instructional/Teacher's Assistant) -
This part-time position is 2 or 3 days per week and helps cover daily absences. This individual will report to Midtown Community Elementary School in the morning to receive the day's assignment. The assignment could be in any elementary school in the district!
High School Diploma (required)
Sixty (60) or more college credits at an approved institution of higher education and/or proof of passing the Praxis Parapro Assessment Test (preferred)
Good interpersonal skills with children and adults.
S. citizenship or legal resident alien status.




Ability to communicate and have command of the English language.
PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:
Under the classroom teacher's supervision, work with students to reinforce material initially introduced by the teacher.
Assist and support students in reaching their academic, social, and emotional goals.
