Experteer Overview In this role you design and certify onboard safety-critical computing platforms within the AR domain, covering firmware, software and hardware integration. You will contribute to DO-254 and DO-178B/C activities, working closely with certification authorities to demonstrate DAL A/B compliance. The position blends requirements engineering, verification, and model-based design in a high-assurance environment. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver robust, certified onboard systems that meet stringent standards while advancing certification-oriented processes.Compensaciones / Beneficios
- Define firmware and software requirements for onboard safety-critical computing platforms
- Perform hardware/firmware/software integration testing and verification
- Develop DO-254 DAL A/B compliant firmware and participate in verification activities
- Support hardware certification processes before Certification Authorities to meet RTCA DO-254 objectives
- Support DO-178B/C DAL A/B software development and verification activities
- Collaborate with certification teams to demonstrate compliance for safety-critical systemsResponsabilidades
- High level knowledge of VHDL




- Proficiency in FPGA/CPLD design (Xilinx, Altera)
- Strong C/C++ programming
- Experience with UML, SysML, Matlab/Simulink, SCADE Suite/Display
- Knowledge of DO-254 MBaD and DO-178B/C
- Modeling and verification tools: ModelSim, ISim, HDL Verifier, HDL Coder
- Experience with Matlab toolchain: Fixed Point Designer, Simulink Design Verifier, Simulink Coverage, Simulink Test
- Experience with hardware certification and RTCA DO-254 up to DAL A/B
- Knowledge of software verification and integration testing, software architecture and design reviews
- Familiarity with AGILE methodologies
- Knowledge of ARINC653 and RTOS concepts
- Python scripting skills
- GIT and Bitbucket usage
