Our client, a global leader in freight forwarding and supply chain solutions, is seeking a dedicated and experienced Air and Sea Freight Logistics Specialist to join their team remotely. This role is pivotal in managing the international movement of goods via air and sea, ensuring efficiency, compliance, and customer satisfaction. You will be responsible for coordinating shipments, managing documentation, and resolving any issues that may arise during transit. Key Responsibilities

- Coordinate and manage international air and sea freight shipments from origin to destination.
- Prepare and process all necessary shipping documentation, including bills of lading, customs declarations, and invoices.
- Liaise with airlines, shipping lines, customs brokers, and other partners to ensure smooth transit.
- Track shipments and provide timely updates to clients on their status.
- Identify and resolve any logistical challenges or customs-related issues that may arise.
- Ensure compliance with all international trade regulations, customs laws, and import/export requirements.
- Negotiate rates with carriers and service providers to optimize costs.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and overseas agents.




- Analyze shipping data to identify opportunities for service improvement and cost reduction.
- Maintain accurate records of all transactions and communications.
- Stay abreast of changes in international trade policies and shipping industry trends.
- Provide exceptional customer service throughout the shipping process.

Requirements

- Proven experience in air and sea freight forwarding or international logistics.
- Solid understanding of international shipping procedures, Incoterms, and customs regulations.
- Experience with preparing shipping documentation and handling customs clearance.
- Excellent knowledge of global trade lanes and carrier operations.
- Strong negotiation and problem-solving skills.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Proficiency in relevant logistics software and MS Office Suite.
- Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and meet deadlines in a remote setting.
- Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy.
- Proactive approach to identifying and resolving potential issues.
- Familiarity with dangerous goods regulations is a plus.
- Bachelor's degree in Logistics, International Business, or a related field is preferred.
