With the maxim of 'high design, globally delivered' we augment our design talent with strong technical expertise and a worldwide network of supply and resource that allows us to deliver complex, world class projects both on time and on budget.We are a boutique design studio with a integral reach.We are looking for a Barcelona based Senior Interior Designer to join our HBA Residential team.Your role as Senior Designer (SD) is to lead the assigned project design team in the design, development, production and delivery of the Company's project work.
The SD will report to the Design Director (DD) and will be chiefly responsible for the day-to-day running of assigned project and other outputs.Manage and take responsibility for project documentation packages with a focus on design, quality, simplicity and efficiency.Insure all deadlines, budgets and schedules are maintained, reporting issues in a clear and timely manner to your head of department (HOD).




Under the DD, Initiate, develop and manage design schedules, specifications and quotationsCheck, organise and approve ingoing and outgoing informationWhere necessary, assist in the dressing and styling of properties.Establish, develop and maintain relationships with existing and new suppliers and design team members to ensure the company is constantly represented in the best light.Manage, motivate and assist with the development of other ID team membersWith the greater design team, plan and attend events/promos/seminars and be a positive ambassador for the company.Promote and develop the office design cultural through inputting and partake in structured and informal creative sessions.Interface with clients as required ensuring a positive image of the company is constantly maintained.Be fiscally responsible with all company resources –hours, printing, reimbursable costs, etc.Below are the minimum qualifications that we expect from you:Have the right to work in EU without visa sponsorshipLocally based in BarcelonaBachelor or Master's degree in Interior Design / Architecture8+ years of experience in luxury residential and / or hospitality projectsInDesign, Photoshop, AutoCAD, SketchupFluent in EnglishStrong conceptualization and presentation skillsStrong sense of responsibilityAbility to meet tight project deadlinesProven ability to handle multiple projects simultaneouslyExperience in preparing drawing packages and interior detailingGood communication skills
