Experteer Overview In this Automation Engineer role, you optimise and keep automated systems running across Amazon's EU Controls network to support reliable order fulfillment.
You will work with conveyors, sortation, and MHE systems, driving improvements and ensuring accurate documentation and backups.
The role blends hands-on troubleshooting with cross-team collaboration and ongoing innovation, including new equipment installation and commissioning.
You will help scale and refine automation capabilities, contributing to high-uptime operations and safety.

metrics with EU Controls network • Provide data visualisations of troubleshooting to internal stakeholders • Own or actively participate in continuous improvement projects run by the EU Controls network • Maintain accurate documentation and backup libraries across systems • Install and commission new equipment with global colleagues • Interpret mechanical/electrical drawings and develop improvement strategies aligned to IEC ******* • Share expertise with Engineering Technicians and provide training on troubleshooting and preventative maintenance Responsabilidades • Relevant experience with PLC-controlled automation and issue diagnosis in continuous process or production environments • Experience supporting conveyors and sortation systems • Experience with material handling, flow and capacity visualisation and monitoring • Experience with at least one of: Microsoft Office, project management tools, EPLAN • Ladder Logic and structured programming from Siemens, Allen-Brady or Codesys PLCs • Ignition SCADA or similar platform and HMI • EthernetIP, Profinet, Profibus and AS-i or other fieldbus networks • VFDs, safety gateways and input/output devices • Advanced proficiency in English and local language Requisitos principales •
