At Lux Quanta, we are pioneering the Quantum Communications industry with quantum physics-based security solutions. As we expand internationally, we're looking for a passionate Senior Pre-Sales Engineer to help us lead the market across Europe and beyond.

About the Role

As Senior Pre-Sales Engineer, you’ll bridge customer needs, business goals, and internal technical execution. You are a tech-commercial powerhouse who can spark interest, design complex solutions, and close B2B deals while coordinating R&D;, Product, and Operations.

With your true Startup DNA , you bring a hands-on, highly flexible mindset, ready to step into adjacent areas whenever needed to ensure smooth transitions and project success.

Main Tasks & Responsibilities

Presales Leadership & Closing: Drive technical presales, solution design, and B2B telecom deal closures.
Customer Advisory & Mobility: Conduct high-level technical presentations, demos, and on-site client visits globally.
Project Orchestration: Coordinate complex presales workflows, aligning internal R&D;, Product, and Operations teams.
Network Solution Design: Architect tailored solutions for enterprise/carrier clients (high-level fiber optics, DWDM, OTN, wholesale/reseller models).




RFPs & Proposals: Lead commercial negotiations, RFP/RFI responses, SOWs, and feasibility studies.

Hands-On & Field Support: Apply field engineering insights and support cross-functional teams on ad-hoc priorities.

Degree in Telecommunications or Electrical Engineering (or similar).

7–10+ years in Telecom Pre-Sales, Solutions Architecture, or Technical Sales.

Deep expertise in high-level fiber optics, optical networks (DWDM, OTN), carrier infrastructure, and wholesale/reselling.

Proven closing ability, commercial negotiation skills, and cross-functional project leadership.

Pragmatic, versátil, and ready to roll up your sleeves beyond standard presales tasks.

Fluent in English and Spanish (German is a strong plus).

Flexible working hours & Remote within Spain if based outside Barcelona.
