All positions Head of Compliance Compliance Spain (Hybrid) Full-time Apply for this role We are looking for a Head of Compliance to lead the regulatory compliance function of the company within the MiCA framework, with full functional independence. You will report directly to senior management / the CEO and to the Board of Directors, and act as the main point of contact with the supervisory authority. This is a permanent, full-time role; the expected start is following authorization and prior to registration.

What you'll do
• Design, implement and maintain the compliance framework in line with MiCA and applicable national regulation.
• Ensure the services provided as a crypto-asset service provider meet regulatory requirements at all times.
• Draft, review and keep updated the internal policies: regulatory compliance, AML/CTF, conflicts of interest, client protection and market conduct, and complaints handling.
• Act as the main point of contact with the supervisory authority, coordinating responses to requirements, formal communications and inspections.
• Oversee the AML/CTF system: AML manual, KYC/KYB policies, risk assessment and transaction monitoring.
• Supervise the correct application of internal controls and propose corrective measures.
• Prepare periodic reports for management and the Board on the state of compliance and the main regulatory risks.
• Work continuously with product, technology and operations to ensure a compliance-by-design approach.
• Track regulatory change (MiCA, DORA, AML directives, GDPR) and define internal compliance training plans.




• Participate in the regulatory assessment of new products, services and significant operational changes. What we're looking for
• University degree in Law, Economics, Business Administration or similar.
• Specific training in regulatory compliance, financial regulation or AML/CTF.
• At least 5 years in compliance functions at regulated financial entities, fintechs or crypto-asset service providers.
• Solid knowledge of the MiCA Regulation and of European and national AML/CTF rules.
• Previous experience interacting with regulators or supervisory authorities.
• Ability to act with independent judgement and to clearly communicate regulatory matters to governance bodies. Nice to have
• High level of integrity and accountability.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Clear, structured communication, both written and spoken.
