Answer internal and external calls courteously, using the guest's name whenever possible and directing calls to the appropriate extension. Manage wake-up calls, messages, and communications, ensuring they are delivered promptly and accurately. Handle reservations and requests for restaurants, spa treatments, and hotel experiences. Record and update guest messages and requests in the hotel app to support internal communication and follow-up. Operate the switchboard and guest room telephone system, reporting any technical issues, and monitor weather forecasts, notifying guests and departments of any unusual conditions. Provide a thorough handover of all pending matters at the end of each shift.
