No Offer Description We are looking for a bright and enthusiastic individual interested in becoming a specialist in the field of research synthesis methodology, and particulary meta-analysis.

We offer
a 4-year full-time contract at the University of Murcia, where the Ph D student will join a well-established research team with a tracked record of methodological and applied contributions in meta-analysis.



Funding from this position stems from a recently-awarded grant titled "Advanced methods to examine heterogeneity in meta-analysis", with Prof. José A López-López and Prof. Julio Sánchez-Meca as co-PIs. The candidate is expected to be based in Murcia for the whole duration of the contract. Although we welcome applications from English-speaking candidates, being fluent in Spanish is highly desirable, as the post involves both research tasks and a small amount of teaching hours to local undergraduate students (40-60 hours per year). The Ph D student will join the university by May 1st, 2027 and will be affiliated to the Department of Basic Psychology and Methodology, where the vast majority of staff members have a Psychology background. xlqxfvg However, given the strong methodological focus of the grant we will also consider applications from candidates with a Statistics/Biostatistics background.
