Overview of the Role As a Pega Lead Business Architect, you will play a pivotal role in driving the functional analysis and backlog management for mortgage-related initiatives. You will collaborate closely with Product Owners and Customer Journey Experts to ensure robust business requirements, facilitate seamless integration, and deliver high-quality solutions. Your expertise will directly influence the success of digital transformation projects, enhancing customer experiences and operational efficiency within the organization. Detailed Responsibilities
• Own and manage the backlog for Mortgages epics, partnering with the client’s Product Owner and Customer Journey Experts to prioritize and refine requirements.
• Lead functional analysis and ensure all stories are 'definition of ready' before development, including clear acceptance criteria, data specifications, integration contracts, and test scenarios.
• Validate and approve that developed solutions meet business requirements during DEV,



support System Integration Testing (SIT), and facilitate User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
• Conduct design and blueprint sessions with business stakeholders to identify and implement value-adding features.
• Collaborate with the Lead System Architect to maintain accurate epic sizing and prepare quarterly business reviews.
• Serve as the primary business liaison, ensuring visibility and effective management of requirement changes throughout the project lifecycle. Skill Requirements
• Certified Pega Business Architect.
• Minimum 7 years of hands-on experience with Pega, including Pega Constellation.
• Proven expertise in mortgage or lending domain.
• Fluent in both Spanish and English.
• Ability and willingness to work onsite in Spain. Other Requirements (Optional)
• Strong communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience in agile methodologies and backlog ownership.
