Overview of the Role The Solution Architect will play a critical role in shaping the integration of Pega Mortgages applications within major banking projects and the broader client enterprise landscape. This position is central to ensuring seamless, secure, and scalable architecture, bridging business objectives with technical execution. The architect will drive integration designs, collaborate with client stakeholders, and guide project teams to maintain alignment with enterprise standards and regulatory requirements, supporting the success of strategic digital transformation initiatives. Detailed Responsibilities
• Architect the integration of Pega Mortgages applications into banking projects and the wider client landscape, ensuring optimal fit and performance.
• Maintain a current and comprehensive view of system interfaces, ownership structures, and change plans across the client’s enterprise.




• Define integration designs with client systems, covering APIs, event flows, data pipelines, security protocols, and error handling processes.
• Collaborate with Lead System Architects to ensure Pega-side integration aligns with broader architectural standards.
• Analyze project epics early to identify dependencies on other workstreams or client systems, proactively flagging issues for planning and sizing.
• Work closely with client enterprise architects, domain architects, and platform teams to align design decisions with organizational standards.
• Support impact analysis, test planning, and release coordination, liaising with client test teams to ensure robust system delivery.
• Advise on cross-system data management, migration strategies, and regulatory compliance issues.
• Facilitate ongoing alignment between Pega design and wider enterprise architecture, ensuring architectural coherence and project success. Skill Requirements
• Minimum 10 years’ experience as a Solution or Enterprise Architect, preferably within banking or lending environments.
• Proven expertise in integration and API design, architecture, and implementation.




• Deep familiarity with banking system landscapes and large-scale enterprise environments.
• Strong understanding of security, data flows, and event-driven architectures.
• Awareness of Pega platforms and their architectural integration (helpful but not mandatory).
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field; advanced degrees or relevant certifications are advantageous.
• Excellent communication skills in English (mandatory); proficiency in Spanish (a plus). Other Requirements (Optional)
