The roleYou will be one of our first forward deployed engineers. Your job is to make sure the client gets what they need from the tools and platforms at hand, in their own environment and often on-prem, and to be the person both sides trust while that happens.

What that looks like: a security team that wants to know why what you are putting into their cluster is safe, and a sponsor who wants it running by the end of the quarter. Access that stalls in week two and a plan that has to survive it. Business owners who each define the same thing differently, and a definition they all sign. A request that makes sense for this client and for nobody else, and a no that keeps them on side. A script you wrote last week that the next client should get for free.

You are the technical lead on two or three accounts. Our engineering specialists come in at the right phase of each deployment; you hold the engagement together and decide when to bring them in. A quarter of your time is reserved for turning what you build at one client into what every client gets, and it is not traded away for client work. You will have a say in what becomes a reusable asset first, and you will say no to custom work no other client would need.

Your first weeks are inside the engineering team, so you know our platforms and tooling from the inside before you represent them at a client. Then you work at a client, one piece of the deployment end to end, and by day 90 you run a workshop with their business owners and a senior colleague only observes.

We are an AI-first company. Engineers orchestrate coding agents for coding,



testing, documentation and operations, and stay fully accountable for the result. The delivery team is built that way from its first hire: the tools you build for yourself at one client are the prototypes engineering hardens for every client.

You report to the Head of Delivery and Customer Success, work daily with the engineering team, and are paired on each account with a deployment strategist who runs the client relationship while you run the solution.

What you bring

- At least five years as a software or data engineer, a good part of them in front of customers. We are looking for an engineer who likes being with a client, not one who is happiest alone in front of a screen.
- You have deployed a data platform inside an enterprise, ideally on-prem: their Kubernetes, their network, their change process, their security team's questions.
- You have built integrations with real enterprise systems and know the difference between one that works in a demo and one that survives the client's data.
- You have B2B experience and had significant level of exposure to and are comfortable with different levels of stakeholders, from end-users to decision makers.
- You have integrated cybersecurity solutions such as SIEMs, SOARs, etc. with data sources.
- SQL fluent. Python or Rust a plus.
- Judgment with clients. By your second deployment, you can run a workshop with business owners and a security review with a CISO's team on your own, and you can tell a sponsor no and keep the relationship.

- You already orchestrate coding agents as your default way of working,



can show concrete examples, and can tell us what you did not trust them with.
- Drive and service orientation. A founder, early-stage or teaching background counts in your favour.
- Comfortable with 25–50% travel to client sites in Spain and Europe, working in Spanish and English, and with the discretion stealth requires.
- High standards, low ego. You disagree hard, then commit fully.

How we work and what we offerWe measure results and ownership, not hours, and we believe in-person time brings out our best work.

Hybrid in Madrid: three office days a week together when you are not on a client site. Agents do the orchestrated work and humans stay accountable. Every iteration puts working software in front of a real user, security is built in, and every non-trivial decision gets an ADR. No assholes, radical transparency on metrics, roadmap and risks, and intensity in seasons rather than permanent burnout.

Generous equity: we want early people to share properly in a major success. High-end laptop, private health insurance, 22 working days of holiday. Compensation: a base salary at the top of the Madrid market for senior engineers with enterprise field experience, set by how far your experience goes beyond the bar above, plus an early-employee equity grant well above what is usual for the role.

How we hireWe hire for the bar, not the gap. An intro conversation, under NDA, where we share what we do and for whom. A hands-on session with a real repo and a coding agent, on a deployment problem rather than a greenfield exercise.

A deployment case: we give you a client situation, a stalled deployment, a security question from a CISO's team, and you tell us what you would do and why. Conversations with the founders and the Head of Technology on customers, trade-offs and values, then references.
