Experteer Overview As Spain Legal Counsel, you will support Waymo’s Spanish operations and advise on regulatory, governance, and commercial matters. You will work closely with policy, product, compliance, and operations teams to shape strategy and navigate Spain and EU regulations. The role involves advising on negotiations, dispute resolutions, and interactions with regulators and authorities. You will help scale Waymo’s activity in Spain while mitigating legal risk and ensuring regulatory alignment.Compensaciones / Beneficios
- Provide hands-on legal services in support of Waymo's Spain operations, including negotiations and dispute resolution
- Offer strategic legal guidance to cross-functional internal stakeholders on Spain-specific legal, business, and governance issues
- Collaborate with public policy, product, regulatory, communications,



and operations teams to develop and implement strategies and represent Waymo with local agencies
- Support cross-functional general teams in navigating country/region laws and monitor evolving Spain-related regulations
- Gain subject matter expertise in new Spanish legal topics as they arise
- Support Spain-related compliance and corporate governance tasksResponsabilidades
- Law degree (LLB, LLM or JD)
- Admitted to practice law at least as an Abogado Ejerciente
- Experience assisting international technology companies with introducing products/services into Spain and the EU
- Experience engaging Spanish and EU regulators and authorities
- At least 5 years of legal experience
