ABOUT THE ROLE

Berrow Projects is a vertically integrated property development studio building bespoke luxury homes that honour Mallorcan heritage while meeting the highest standards in contemporary living. We're looking for a Junior Interior Designer to work as the right hand of our senior interior designers — taking on the preparation, sourcing and coordination work as well as having the opportunity to take their own projects & manage clients as the role evolves. You'll bring a refined eye and a natural talent for working with people.

Based at our Sóller studio, you'll work alongside our in-house designers, project managers and commercial team, supporting the senior designers on every project from first concept to final styling — and taking full ownership of the look and feel of our own office.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Supporting the Senior Designers

- Assist the senior interior designers day to day.
- Prepare drawings, layouts, mood boards and visual presentations (plans, elevations, renders) based on the senior interior designers direction.
- Source furniture, fabrics, lighting, art and accessories, managing samples, quotes and orders with suppliers and local artisans.
- Keep project files, material libraries, budgets, schedules and order trackers organised and up to date.

Client Communication

- Join client meetings, taking notes and capturing feedback and decisions clearly.
- Handle day-to-day client communication — updates, follow-ups and questions — with clarity and professionalism. Implement these communications into site’s & internal docs.
- Prepare polished client documents: proposals, material and furniture selections, schedules and meeting summaries.
- Coordinate with architects,



contractors and installers on site, helping the seniors make sure every design is delivered as intended.

Office Styling & Visual Identity

- Take ownership of the visual decoration and styling of the Berrow studio, making sure the space reflects our brand and design standards.
- Host clients to the office, offer them our services using our showroom/studio as an example of work. Use this opportunity to convert clients into business.
- Curate and refresh the office throughout the year — furniture, plants, art, objects and seasonal styling — keeping it client-ready at all times.
- Style spaces for client meetings, photo or video shoots, working hand in hand with the marketing team.

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS

- Education: degree in Interior Design, Interior Architecture or a related field.
- Experience: 0 - 2 years in an interior design studio, architecture practice or similar (internships count).
- Communication: exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with fluent English and Spanish; additional languages, particularly German, a strong advantage.
- Software: working knowledge of Vector Works, ArchiCAD, plus presentation tools (Adobe InDesign / Photoshop, Canva or similar). An ambition to work in 3D.
- Portfolio: a portfolio showcasing your interior design and styling work. If limited experience, show your ideal projects and how you communicate and present design ideas.
- Location: able to commute reliably to Sóller; work permit for Spain required.

BONUS POINTS (HIGHLY VALUED)

- Knowledge of Mallorcan suppliers, artisans and traditional materials.
- Styling or photography skills for interior content.
- Valid driving licence and own vehicle.
