We are looking for an experienced International Business Controller to join our Madrid Finance Hub and help develop the group's international management reporting, budgeting, forecasting and performance analysis.

Working closely with the Head of Finance, headquarters and international entities, you will help establish a consistent controlling framework that supports informed business decisions and provides a clear view of financial performance, risks and opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

- Design and implement monthly management reporting for headquarters, subsidiaries and branch offices.
- Analyse financial performance against budget, forecast and prior-year results, identifying variances, risks and corrective actions.
- Lead annual budgeting and periodic forecasting processes in collaboration with business stakeholders.
- Analyse profitability by country, entity, project, customer or business line.
- Monitor project backlogs, margins,



cost developments and delivery risks where applicable.
- Support financial modelling, scenario analysis, investment decisions and pricing assessments.
- Coordinate rolling cash-flow forecasts and analyse working capital trends.
- Prepare the management reporting section of the integrated Board report.
- Contribute to ERP and reporting system implementation, data validation and reporting automation.

Requirements

- At least 5 years of relevant professional experience in controlling, financial planning and analysis, or a comparable finance role in an international business.
- Demonstrated experience in budgeting, forecasting, management reporting and variance analysis.
- Experience analysing business or project profitability and coordinating stakeholders across countries.
- Strong understanding of the P&L;, balance sheet, cash flow and the relationship between accounting and management reporting.
- Advanced Excel skills, financial modelling capabilities and working knowledge of BI and ERP tools.
- Professional proficiency in English and fluency in Spanish.
- Professional German is a strong advantage.
- Strong analytical judgement, communication skills and the ability to translate financial data into actionable business recommendations.
