As a Data Engineer, you design, implement, and deploy data integration pipelines across diverse sources to enable seamless data movement inside Airbus Defence u0026amp; Space and with external partners. You will join the TDDT Data Integration team within Data Management u0026amp; AI, collaborating with a multidisciplinary group to ensure end-to-end delivery and SLA-compliant operations.

You’ll work on integration platforms, data modeling, and AI-adoption initiatives to improve interoperability. This role offers a hands-on, impact-driven opportunity in a complex, security-conscious environment.

- Design, implement and deploy data integration tasks within data integration products to fulfill Digital project requests
- Define integration tasks for new development and Use Cases in collaboration with Product Owner
- Lead UATs and deployment activities in coordination with the Data Integration product’s Operations Manager
- Support platform performance analysis to guarantee SLAs
- Assist migration of pipelines to a new microservices, API-based architecture
- Contribute to AI adoption initiatives and interoperability layer projects
- Contribute to data modeling aligned with Data Foundations and semantic layer
- Produce data quality checks and automated alert mechanisms




- Provide technical architecture and integration guidance within own perimeter
- Develop and document physical data models in Data Integration platforms for data use cases
- Maintain up-to-date information flows, deployment plans, and configuration management

Responsabilidades

- Over 5 years of experience as a Data Engineer focusing on Data Integration
- Hands-on experience building data pipelines using enterprise integration platforms (ETL/ELT, middleware, API platforms)
- Experience handling data from multiple sources (csv, json, xml, relational databases)
- Proficiency in programming languages for data integration (Python, Flask, Node, Java Script, Express)
- Experience in documenting requirements and translating them into reports and models
- Proficiency in querying and managing relational and NoSQL databases
- Mandatory API-based services technologies experience
- Understanding of microservices and event-driven architecture (on-prem)
- Knowledge of Dev Ops methods and tools (2–3 years)
- IT project management knowledge
- Basic IT Service Management concepts
- Basic knowledge of Data Analytics and AI principles
- Security clearance or eligibility is mandatory
- English and Spanish negotiation level required
