We are looking for a Collections Specialist to join our Credit & Collections organization in Barcelona. You will work in an international environment where collaboration, customer focus, clear communication, and proactive account management are key to delivering a high-quality service.

Ensure timely collection of outstanding customer balances in line with Air Products' Credit & Collections Escalation Policy

Anticipate and communicate with Customer Services, Sales Representatives, and customers regarding disputed items, potential payment issues, and credit hold situations

Liaise with the Credit & Collections Team Lead on all credit related issues.

Fluency in English , both written and spoken

Basic accounting knowledge, particularly in customer accounting

Proficiency in MS Office applications

Ideally have experience handling inbound and outbound calls, preferably within a Credit & Collections environment

Strong negotiation skills, with experience engaging both customers and internal stakeholders on topics such as collections, dispute resolution, account reconciliation, and charges/payments

Experience with SAP is an advantage, though not mandatory
