Join Shipco IT as an Associate – Business Analyst We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Business Analyst to act as a vital bridge between business goals and technology solutions. In this role, you will analyze and refine business processes, identify opportunities for improvement, and help translate business needs into clear, actionable system requirements.

Elicit, Analyze, and Document

Requirements:
Collaborate with business and ITstakeholders to gather, analyze, and prioritize business requirements and feedback. Translate these into clear use cases, user stories, functional specifications, and business requirement documents (BRDs). Work closely with technical andbusiness teams to design, document, and implement system solutions that align with business needs. Process Analysis & Optimization: Risk Assessment & Prioritization: Assess risks and impacts associated withproposed solutions and designs,



and effectively prioritize competing businessdemands to ensure project success.
Partner with cross-functional teams throughoutthe specification, testing, and implementation phases to ensure seamlesscommunication and delivery.
Testing, Validation & UAT Coordination: Support solution validation by deliveringrequirement walkthroughs, assisting in system testing and User Acceptance Testing(UAT), and coordinating signoffs from business users to confirm solution readiness.
Ensure Quality Standards: Validate that developed solutions meet definedbusiness and technical requirements, maintaining alignment with established quality standards.
Maintain comprehensive businessprocess and system documentation, including flowcharts, data models, and business rules. Stay current with industry best practices, tools, and methodologies to continuously improve analysis quality and project delivery.
Bachelor's degree (or higher) in Computer Science, Engineering, BusinessAdministration, or a related field with equivalent experience considered.
Minimum of 5 years as a Business Analyst with prior exposure to IT projects;Hands-on experience in requirement gathering, functional documentation,stakeholder communication, and testing coordination,



with the ability to translatebusiness needs into actionable specifications.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and generateactionable insights; Proficiency in tools and techniques such as UML, BPMN, use cases, Microsoft Visio,JIRA, Confluence, and SQL; experience with data visualization (Power BI/Tableau)and API testing (SoapUI/Postman) is a plus.
Familiarity with Agile and Waterfall project management methodologies; Excellent written and verbal communication skills, capable of engaging effectivelywith technical and non-technical stakeholders, business teams, and externalpartners.
Strong documentation and formatting skills in English, with the ability to produceclear and well-structured requirement materials.
Experience working closely with senior business analysts, product owners, or otherkey stakeholders for guidance, alignment, and best practice implementation.
