About the Role
Our client, a forward-thinking technology company specializing in Artificial Intelligence and Emerging Technologies, is looking for a Senior Data Scientist with a focus on Computer Vision to join their innovative team in Mérida, Yucatán, MX. Key Responsibilities
* Develop and deploy state-of-the-art computer vision models for tasks such as object detection, image segmentation, facial recognition, and 3D reconstruction.
* Analyze and interpret complex image and video data to extract actionable insights.
* Design and implement robust data pipelines for training and evaluating computer vision models.
* Collaborate with software engineers to integrate computer vision models into production applications and systems.
* Conduct research on new computer vision techniques and algorithms, assessing their potential applications.
* Stay up-to-date with the latest research papers, trends, and tools in the computer vision and AI fields.




* Mentor junior data scientists and contribute to the team's technical growth.
* Document findings, methodologies, and model performance thoroughly. Requirements
* Ph.
D. or Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Artificial Intelligence, or a related field with a specialization in computer vision.
* 5+ years of hands-on experience in developing and deploying computer vision models in a professional setting.
* Proficiency in Python and deep learning frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Keras.
* Strong understanding of image processing techniques, feature extraction, and classical computer vision algorithms.
* Experience with deep learning architectures relevant to computer vision (CNNs, RNNs, Transformers).
* Familiarity with libraries like OpenCV, scikit-image, and data augmentation techniques.
* Experience working with large datasets and distributed computing environments.
* Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
* Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively present complex technical information.
