L. is a research company in Valencia (Spain), applying to the EIC Pathfinder Challenges 2026 as sole applicant. It does not broker work and does not go through agencies: research is contracted directly with the people who do it, one by one, each on their own contract. There is no intermediate layer, and no share of the fee is retained in between.

· Spain or anywhere in the EU or Worldwide One position, in each of the open work packages. Contracted directly with the person. THE POSITION You lead one work package: you own its deliverables, you sign its milestone, and you execute your own person-months. You decide how the work is done and you answer for the package's results. You report directly to the Principal Investigator, who coordinates the project. The hours in each package are yours. What you produce in them is the deliverable. ONE POSITION, AND THE HOURS CAN BE SHARED A package is held by one person or by two, with the hours divided between them — now, or later if that turns out to be what the work needs. WP6 is already offered that way, whole or as two halves. What is never divided is responsibility: each person signs the deliverables they hold, and answers for those. THE PROJECT Today's AI reasons by association. It predicts well and it cannot say why, because the explanation comes out of the same process as the answer. LAIA puts the normative and causal constraints inside the reasoning substrate as machine-checkable axioms: a neural layer proposes, a symbolic layer verifies, and anything not derivable is not output. Every conclusion arrives with a derivation a third party can replay. Four years, 2027-2030, nine work packages. BRISECOM S.
