A Hardware Deployment Manager to join a project, based in Montcada i Reixac. The professional will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and managing the deployment of automated checkout systems across supermarket locations. Ensures equipment is delivered, installed, configured, tested, and handed over to the client according to project timelines, technical requirements, and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
1. Hardware Roll-Out and Deployment Management
• Plan and coordinate the installation and configuration of automated checkout systems across multiple supermarket locations.
• Manage deployment schedules, milestones, priorities, and installation progress.
• Ensure all equipment is installed, configured, tested, and operational within agreed timelines.
• Coordinate site readiness, equipment delivery, installation activities, and final acceptance.
• Monitor deployment progress, identify risks, and implement corrective actions when required. 2. Logistics and Resource Coordination
• Coordinate hardware availability, transportation, storage, and delivery to supermarket locations.
• Schedule and allocate field technicians, installation teams, and external service providers.
• Liaise with supermarket representatives and project stakeholders to arrange installation activities.
• Track equipment, accessories,



and installation materials to ensure availability when needed.
• Manage deployment dependencies, delays, and logistical issues. 3. Technical Installation and Configuration
• Oversee the physical installation and configuration of automated checkout systems and associated peripherals.
• Ensure correct device setup, network connectivity, and configuration according to technical specifications.
• Coordinate functional testing and validation before systems are handed over.
• Ensure integration with relevant store systems and payment solutions is tested, where applicable.
• Coordinate troubleshooting and resolution of technical issues identified during installation and testing. 4. Team and Stakeholder Management
• Coordinate internal technical teams, field technicians, suppliers, and subcontractors.
• Monitor team performance and ensure compliance with installation procedures and project requirements.
• Act as the main point of contact for deployment-related matters.
• Communicate project status, risks, incidents, and delays to relevant stakeholders.
• Ensure effective coordination between technical teams, logistics, and supermarket operations. 5. Quality, Documentation and Reporting




• Ensure compliance with technical standards, installation procedures, and agreed service levels.
• Maintain accurate records of installed equipment, configurations, serial numbers, and deployment status.
• Coordinate incident resolution and post-installation support during the deployment phase.
• Prepare progress reports, deployment metrics, risk updates, and completion documentation.
• Ensure final installation checks, documentation, and handover requirements are completed.

Requirements:
• At lest 2 years of proven experience in IT hardware roll-outs, field deployments, or multi-site installation projects.
• Experience coordinating technical teams, logistics, suppliers, and external service providers.
• Knowledge of hardware installation, device configuration, network connectivity, and technical troubleshooting.
• Strong project coordination, planning, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Experience in retail technology, POS systems, self-checkout solutions, or payment terminals is highly desirable. Work Model:
