Job Description
We are looking for a US Data Security Rule Expert to support the R&D; Data Office in implementing the US Data Security Rule within pharmaceutical research and development. The role focuses on helping scientific and clinical teams understand regulatory requirements and translate them into practical compliance measures while supporting the discovery, development, and commercialization of prescription medicines. The idóneo candidate will have experience in pharmaceutical or healthcare data protection, a strong understanding of regulatory frameworks, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
• Provide day-to-day guidance to R&D;, scientific, and clinical teams on compliance with the US Data Security Rule.
• Support the implementation of healthcare data protection regulations and related compliance frameworks.
• Develop practical guidance, communication materials, and AI-enabled tools to help users comply with regulatory requirements.
• Work with R&D; representatives to embed regulatory requirements into business processes and functional activities.
• Deliver small-group training sessions and regulatory awareness workshops.




• Conduct regular drop-in sessions to address questions and resolve compliance challenges.
• Collaborate with R&D;, Compliance, Regulatory Intelligence, and Legal teams to ensure appropriate regulatory implementation.
• Interpret complex legal and regulatory requirements and translate them into actionable business practices.
• Track follow-up actions, manage competing priorities, and escalate complex legal matters to senior legal stakeholders when required. Required Skills and Experience
• Proven experience in pharmaceuticals, healthcare data protection, or a related regulatory compliance domain.
• Experience implementing healthcare data regulations or similar data security and privacy frameworks.
• Strong scientific and/or clinical understanding.
• Ability to interpret complex legal and regulatory frameworks and apply them to business operations.
• Experience translating regulatory requirements into practical implementation strategies and guidance.
• Excellent stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication, presentation, and training skills.
• Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
