Role DescriptionWe are looking for a Sales Associate focused on the Italian market to join our team in Madrid. This is a customer-facing commercial role combining customer service, sales support and business development. You will manage day-to-day relationships with customers while progressively developing your commercial skills and taking greater ownership of accounts and sales opportunities. Your main responsibilities will include:
• Managing customer enquiries, quotations, orders and commercial follow-up.
• Building strong relationships with Italian customers through regular contact by phone, email and digital channels.
• Understanding customer requirements and identifying opportunities to develop existing accounts.
• Following up on quotations, leads and commercial opportunities.
• Working closely with the sales team to support volume, margin and customer-development objectives.
• Maintaining accurate customer, opportunity and commercial information in the CRM.
• Coordinating internally with logistics,



supply chain, finance and other teams to ensure a high level of customer service.
• Proactively contacting customers and prospects to understand their needs and generate new business opportunities.
• Gradually taking greater responsibility for account management and commercial development. The position offers an excellent opportunity for someone who wants to move beyond traditional customer service and develop a career in B2B sales within an international environment. Qualifications
• Fluent or native-level Italian and good working knowledge of English.
• Strong communication skills and confidence interacting with customers by phone, email and online meetings.
• Customer-service or commercial experience, preferably in a B2B environment.
• Commercial mindset with the ability to identify customer needs and opportunities.
• Proactive attitude and willingness to develop sales and negotiation skills.
• Strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple customers, orders and priorities.
• Comfortable working with CRM systems, Microsoft Office and digital business tools.
• Previous experience in polymers, chemicals, plastics, distribution or another industrial B2B environment would be an advantage, but is not essential.
• Collaborative mindset and enthusiasm for working within an international and multicultural team.
• Ability to work on-site in Madrid.
