The roleWe are looking for a Principal Surveyor to lead our vehicle inspection operations at the Port of Tanger Med (Morocco). After an initial training period in Barcelona, you will join our Tanger Med site as the person responsible for planning, coordinating and supervising the surveyor team, ensuring inspection quality and managing the operational relationship with the customer.

Key responsibilities
Inspection planning
• Prepare the daily inspection planning so surveyors can carry out their service tasks, clearly indicating work locations and timing.
• Provide all necessary inspection documentation, keeping OEM standard updates current.
• Make sure surveyors understand the documentation and test their knowledge regularly.
• Organise terminal access.
• Manage and record

for accounting purposes. Team coordination and supervision
• Monitor and follow up the proper execution of a clear planning schedule using visual tools (whiteboards, etc.).
• Make sure all surveyors are on time.
• Make sure all surveyors are properly dressed (clean hi-vis uniform, no sharp or metal objects).
• Make sure surveyors are properly trained according to customer requirements. Reporting and quality control
• Ensure inspections are transmitted upon completion: CARPOD data uploaded or sent to the Consultant (copying the Head Consultant), plus supervisions, H&H;, measurements and audits, as per the Reporting Procedure.
• Share any additional information that helps the reporting process, such as large damages.
• Check damage rates of your team's reports in CARLOGICS.




• Check the accuracy of inspection reports with unusual damage rates and correct reporting or classification inaccuracies with the consultant and surveyors. Operations and customer management
• Keep an operational overview of survey and supervision services updated at all times.
• Act as the customer's point of contact at operational level.
• Follow the company's values and behaviours. RequirementsLanguages (essential)
• English: professional level, spoken and written.
• Spanish: professional level, spoken and written.
• Moroccan Arabic (Darija): native or bilingual level. Experience and profile
• Previous experience in vehicle inspection, port logistics, ro-ro terminals or similar environments.
• Experience coordinating operational teams and planning work shifts.
• Good command of IT tools and reporting systems.
• Strong organisational skills, reliability with deadlines and attention to detail.
• Leadership and communication skills with teams and customers.
• Availability to travel to Barcelona for the training period. Nice to have
• Knowledge of OEM vehicle inspection standards.
• Experience with CARPOD or CARLOGICS.
