We are looking for a practical, hands-on
Software/Data Engineer
to help build, modernize, and support our client's
Data Platform
.
We are seeking someone who combines strong data engineering expertise with a structured and proactive approach to problem-solving. You will work with technologies including
Snowflake, SQL, Python, dbt, Azure Data Factory, Generative AI and Power BI
, contributing both to new solutions and existing production environments.
Design, develop and maintain
Snowflake
data models, transformations, views and data pipelines.
Build and enhance
dbt
models, including testing, documentation and deployment.
Develop and maintain
ETL/ELT workflows
and data integration solutions.
Develop
Python
utilities, automation tools and services for data processing, testing and troubleshooting.
Work with
Azure DevOps and/or GitHub
, inclusive of pull requests, code reviews, and CI/CD pipelines.
Support production systems, investigate incidents, perform root cause analysis and drive operational improvements.
Contribute to
Generative AI and AI-enabled solutions
, leveraging tools such as GitHub Copilot.
Support existing
.NET/C# services
and occasionally contribute to
React/TypeScript
applications.
Collaborate with engineers, analysts and business stakeholders to turn requirements into scalable, maintainable solutions.
Support data platforms powering
Power BI dashboards, analytics, semantic models, client insights and AI-driven use cases
.
Strong experience with
SQL, Snowflake and data engineering
.
Good understanding of




dimensional modelling and Kimball methodology
, including facts, dimensions, grain, historical data and conformed dimensions.
Hands-on experience building and maintaining
dbt
models and applying engineering best practices.
Experience with
Azure Data Factory, Azure Functions and Azure Pipelines
.
Strong
Python
programming skills for data engineering, automation, testing and integrations.
Experience with
Generative AI tools and AI-enabled solutions
.
Familiarity with
Azure DevOps and/or GitHub
, version control and CI/CD methodologies.
Knowledge of
Power BI, semantic models and data consumption patterns
.
Ability to work autonomously on well-defined requirements while collaborating effectively with technical and business stakeholders.
Nice to have:
Experience with
.NET/C# and xUnit
or similar testing frameworks.
Knowledge of
React, TypeScript, Vite, React Query, MSAL and OAuth
.
Advanced Snowflake capabilities such as
Snowpipe, Streams, Tasks, Secure Views and performance tuning
.
Experience in
Financial Services, Asset Management, Marketing or Client Services
environments.
Understanding of
metadata management, data lineage and modern data products
.
