We're searching for a motivated and detail-orientedAccounts Receivable Specialistto join our Finance & Accounting team inBroussard, LA.
In this role, you'll support the full accounts receivable cycle, from customer invoicing and billing portal submissions to payment application, collections, and account reconciliations.
By resolving billing discrepancies, maintaining accurate records, and supporting month-end close, you'll help ensure timely payments, reliable financial reporting, and excellent customer service across the organization.

What You'll Do
Generate, review, and distribute customer invoices accurately and in accordance with contractual and billing requirementsSubmit invoices through customer billing portals, including SAP Ariba, OpenInvoice, OpenTicket, and GEP SmartInvestigate and resolve billing disputes, coding issues, missing documentation, and invoice discrepanciesApply customer payments and research unapplied cash, credits, and account adjustmentsMonitor accounts receivable aging and follow up on outstanding balances through customer collections outreachCoordinate payment arrangements and follow-up plans for overdue accounts,



as appropriateReconcile customer accounts and resolve payment or balance discrepanciesMaintain accurate customer records, billing preferences, tax information, and portal setup detailsPrepare aging reports, payment status updates, and accounts receivable metrics for leadership reviewSupport month-end close, including reconciliations, accruals, and reportingRespond to customer inquiries, collaborate with internal teams, and support audits and process improvementsPerform other duties as assignedRequirementsHigh School Diploma or equivalent required; Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field preferred.1–2 years of accounts receivable experience within high-volume, multi-entity or multi-location environmentsDemonstrated experience with invoicing, payment application, collections, account reconciliations, month-end close, and U.
S. GAAP principlesExperience with ERP systems and billing platforms (e.
G. NetSuite, SAP Ariba, OpenInvoice, OpenTicket) strongly preferredProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups, formulas, and data analysis)
