We are looking for a dynamic, proactive and talentedIT & AI CommercialLegalCounsel to join our LegalTeam in Madrid and providelegalsupport to ourIT&AI; business teams inSpainRegion.

Our new colleague will join a talented, innovative and diverse team ofLegalCounsels and Contract Managers in Madrid. The role will offer room to grow. Structured professional and personal development is a key element in theLegalTeam and the organization at large.

Key responsibilities

- You will be mainly responsible for the negotiation and review ofIT&AI; business contracts for Private and Public Sector space, both for existing accounts but also new opportunities and deals.
- Have end-to-endlegalsupport responsibility for a set of assigned deals in Spain with special focus on IP, AI, ITand Data Protection Law.
- Support the review and negotiations of a wide range ofIT&AI; Contracts considering business andlegalrequirements.
- Realize alllegalaspects of contracting with the customers and with the providers, including claims, ensuring compliance with relevant local legislation and company’s codes and policies,
- Provide specialized legal advice on Artificial Intelligence and data protection, with a particular focus on the EU AI Act and GDPR, supporting both the design and implementation of the AI legal governance and compliance framework and the business teams in the development, procurement and use of AI solutions.
- Articulate clearlylegaladvice in a pragmatic manner to all stakeholders.

Profile

- Fully qualified Spanish Lawyer, in the range of around 5-10 years of PQE.
- Interest in the field ofITOutsourcing, Digital, Intellectual Property,



software licensing and Artificial Intelligence and Data Protection law.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving ability.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills in order to effectively communicate with all levels of personnel within the company, clients, and vendors.
- Good time-management skills and the ability to effectively prioritize work activities to accomplish assigned duties under deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Thrives at being part of a team and working cross-functionally.
- Ability to perform in a self-sufficient manner with minimal secretarial and administrative support.
- Native or business-level Spanish language skills are a must-have, fluent business English is essential as well.
