About the Firm

Our client is a newly launched Asset-Based Finance (ABF) investor focused on the lower-middle market. The firm provides private, asset-backed financing to originators, owners of cash-generating asset pools and specialty lenders across Europe and the UK. Its senior team pairs deep structured credit investing experience from leading general asset managers (i.e.

KKR) with senior operating backgrounds at major fintech platforms and financial institutions. The fund is backed by a strategic partner that has already committed anchor capital.

The Role The firm is hiring a Graduate Investment Analyst to join its investment team at an early stage of the platform. You’ll work directly with the senior team and get hands-on exposure to every stage of the investment cycle, from first call to exit. This is an opportunity to learn private credit from the ground up in a small team where your work is visible from day one.

You will:

- Origination and screening: help assess new opportunities across consumer, SME, real-asset and specialty finance lending, including market research and initial reviews of lending platforms and their credit.
- Underwriting: analyse loan-level data and historical performance (delinquencies, defaults, prepayments, recoveries), and build cash-flow models with stress scenarios under the guidance of the senior team. You’ll also support due diligence on lenders and servicers.
- Structuring and execution: learn how financing facilities are structured (advance rates,



eligibility criteria, triggers, covenants), and help coordinate with counterparties, lawyers and advisers through to closing.
- Investment committee: contribute to investment memos and, over time, present your analysis to the investment committee.
- Portfolio monitoring: track how investments perform against expectations, review servicer reports, and help flag early signs of underperformance.
- Building the firm: help prepare investor materials and reporting, and shape the firm’s processes as it grows.

What We’re Looking For

- A strong degree (2025, 2026 or one due in 2027) in finance, economics, mathematics, engineering or another quantitative subject
- Solid Excel skills and a genuine interest in financial modelling; Python or SQL is a plus
- Curiosity about credit markets, lending and how financial businesses work
- Clear written and verbal communication
- Attention to detail, ownership and comfort in a fast-moving, entrepreneurial setting
- Internship experience in banking, credit, asset management, fintech or consulting is helpful but not required
