About the Role

Our client, a leading insurance company, is seeking a dedicated and experienced Experto en Reclamaciones de Seguros de Automóviles to join their operations in Mérida, Yucatán . Key Responsibilities

- Receive, review, and investigate auto insurance claims promptly and thoroughly.
- Interview claimants, witnesses, and policyholders to gather necessary information.
- Assess policy coverage, liability, and damages to determine claim validity and settlement amounts.
- Negotiate settlements with claimants and third parties in accordance with company guidelines.
- Manage a caseload of claims efficiently, ensuring timely resolution and adherence to service standards.
- Maintain accurate and detailed claim files, documenting all activities and communications.
- Identify potential subrogation or salvage opportunities.




- Collaborate with repair shops, legal counsel, and other service providers as needed.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and company policies.

Requirements

- High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in handling auto insurance claims.
- Thorough knowledge of auto insurance policies, claims procedures, and relevant legal regulations.
- Strong investigative, analytical, and negotiation skills.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Proficiency in claims management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
- Familiarity with the local automotive repair and legal landscape in Yucatán is a plus.
