GBSB Global Business School is seeking motivated and research-oriented Full-Time Faculty members specializing in Finance & Accounting to join our Barcelona Campus in January 2027.

We particularly welcome applications from recent PhD graduates looking to develop their academic careers through teaching, research, and institutional engagement.

This position offers the opportunity to contribute to undergraduate and postgraduate education within an international academic environment, working with students from over 60 nationalities.

Key Responsibilities

- Deliver undergraduate and postgraduate courses in Finance and Accounting, including Corporate Finance, Managerial Accounting, Principles of Accounting, and Finance for Management.
- Teach advanced subjects such as Advanced Corporate Finance and Algorithmic Finance & Big Data, depending on expertise.
- Supervise bachelor's and master's dissertations and participate in thesis defense committees.
- Support students in quantitative research methods and business economics.
- Contribute to curriculum development, academic quality assurance, and faculty initiatives.
- Maintain an active research agenda and contribute to academic publications and scholarly activities.

What We're Looking For

- PhD in Finance, Accounting, or a closely related field,



preferably completed within the last two years.
- At least one year of university-level teaching experience in a relevant discipline; experience teaching at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels is an advantage.
- Strong knowledge of corporate finance, financial reporting, and quantitative methods.
- Excellent command of English, our language of instruction.
- Enthusiasm for teaching, research, innovation, and student success.
- Ability to thrive in an international and multicultural academic environment.

Research Expectations

Faculty members are expected to maintain an active research agenda, including a minimum of one peer-reviewed Scopus-indexed journal article and three additional intellectual contributions or scholarly achievements over a rolling five-year period.
