What is The RoleEvery outcome on the Elastic platform starts with data getting in.
Streams, Elastic’s telemetry pipeline, is the shared ingest layer for Observability, Security, and Search.
It collects data from any source, processes and routes it, and stores it in Elasticsearch or the customer’s own object storage, all built on open standards like OpenTelemetry and Prometheus.
As Director of Product Management, you will own Streams end to end and lead the PM team behind it.
Your job is to make Elastic the easiest platform to bring data to, for every solution and every customer.
What You Will Be DoingOwn the strategy and roadmap for data collection, ingestion, processing and routing, and the integrations framework.
Define and track KPIs focused on product and feature adoptionPartner with Observability, Security, and Search product leaders to provide a shared service everyone can leverageMake getting data ingestion self-service, with time-to-first-data measured in minutes.
Drive roadmap priorities by working with customers, internal teams,



and the communityWork with engineers and designers to scope and define compelling featuresEnable sales, marketing, and partners with clear messaging and positioningWhat You Bring 10+ years in product management, including 4+ years leading PM teams in data infrastructure, observability, or data pipelines.
