Role Description
Energiot is looking to hire a Mechanical Design Engineer to join the product and R&D; team in Barcelona. The person will participate in the mechanical design of IoT devices applied to the monitoring of electrical networks, working on the development of parts, tooling, prototypes, and manufacturable solutions for products deployed in the field.
This is an idóneo position for someone with practical experience in mechanical product design and development, manufacturing, and technical documentation, who wants to work in a multidisciplinary environment alongside hardware, firmware, and product teams, contributing directly to the development of real solutions for the energy sector.
Key Responsibilities

~3D Design and Drawings: They use software programs (such as SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or CATIA) for digital modeling and the creation of manufacturing drawings.
~ Simulation and Calculation: They evaluate the behavior of the parts (stresses, tolerances, kinematics) to ensure their technical feasibility.
~ Material Selection: They choose the appropriate components (screws, motors, bearings, profiles) taking into
