I'm working with a VC-backed, rapidly scaling AI-native fintech start-up that is rebuilding the financial system of record for modern businesses. Backed by top-tier US investors, they've grown quickly in a short space of time, serving customers from high-growth companies through to publicly traded enterprises.

You'll be building and shipping end to end: designing backend systems and APIs that run real-time, business-critical accounting logic, owning everything from architecture and CI/CD through to testing and monitoring. The team deploys daily, moves fast and never waits for permission.

We're Looking For

- 5+ years' backend engineering experience (language agnostic)
- Deep experience with complex business logic products
- Strong database skills: PostgreSQL, SQL, ORMs,

migrations and schema design
- Experience deploying on AWS (or similar), with solid CI/CD and production-readiness fundamentals
- Hardcore work ethic and high agency
- Pragmatic, fast-moving and curious, someone who makes decisions based in reality, not theory
- Python and a modern web framework (FastAPI, Flask or Django) is a bonus

Key Info

- Fully Remote | EU
- $140k-$250k base + equity
- B2B or EOR
- VC-backed | Rapidly scaling | Significant equity ownership
- High-speed, high-trust environment | Your feedback shapes the product directly
