An opportunity for an Aerodynamics Engineer has arisen within Airbus Defence and Space, Getafe (Madrid). Working within a multidisciplinary Flight Physics environment alongside international partners, the candidate will participate in external shape design, complex aerodynamic modeling (performance, handling qualities, and loads in steady/unsteady modes), and experimental wind tunnel testing. Design air vehicle external shapes and deliver comprehensive aerodynamic models, performance data, handling qualities, and loads in steady/unsteady modes on time, cost, and quality (TCQ).

Contribute to achieving vehicle project aerodynamics and flight performance requirements across design and major component/system integration phases. Collaborate directly with related flight physics disciplines, including structures, loads, stability & control, and mass properties. Master’s degree in Aerospace Engineering.

experience in aerospace/engineering environments is appreciated. Advanced level in English & Spanish (both written & spoken). A PhD level in Aerospace Engineering will be valuable. Knowledge and experience in aerodynamic design and characterization, numerical prediction tools, fluid dynamics, wind tunnel tests, CAD tools, flight mechanics.
