We’re looking for people who are curious, driven, and eager to take ownership in solving complex, high-impact problems.Role OverviewThe Payments Onboarding Specialist will support Fayara Group’s growth by managing merchant and entity onboarding with payment service providers, acquirers, banks, gateways, and alternative payment providers.Responsibilities include coordinating applications from preparation to approval and go-live, managing provider communications, ensuring accurate documentation, and proactively tracking outstanding requirements.The role also supports corporate and KYC documentation maintenance, periodic compliance reviews, and the ongoing good standing of payment accounts.The ideal candidate is organised, detail-oriented, proactive, and able to manage multiple processes in a fast-paced, growing environment. This is a full time employment role, with 5 days from the office the first 6 months and Hybrid – 4 days from the office after probation.Key ResponsilbitiesManage merchant onboarding with acquirers, banks, gateways and alternative payment providers: prepare and submit applications and handle follow-up through to approval and go-liveDay-to-day contact for payment providers on onboarding, compliance reviews and account statusMaintain KYC and corporate documentation for each group entity with the corporate service providers, and answer periodic compliance reviews from existing providersKeep a tracker of every application and compliance review: owner, status, next action and outstanding documentsGather what providers ask for from internal teams, such as website, technical and financial information, and check it before submissionReport onboarding and compliance review status to managementSupport the payments function with ad hoc projects such as new payment method set-upAny other duties relevant to the role.What We're Looking For1-3 years of experience in payments, acquiring,
