Role Description The Location Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Valencia, responsible for overseeing all aspects of filming locations for productions. Day-to-day tasks include scouting and securing suitable locations, negotiating and managing location agreements, and coordinating permits and local regulations. The role involves serving as the primary contact between production teams, property owners, and local authorities, ensuring smooth operations and maintaining positive relationships.

The Location

Manager organizes logistics such as access, parking, and schedule coordination, monitors location-related budgets, and ensures that all activities respect the cultural and community context. This role also supports the production team during shoots,



addressing issues promptly and maintaining a safe, professional environment on set.

Qualifications

- Strong customer service and customer satisfaction skills to build and maintain positive relationships with property owners, local communities, and partners.
- Excellent communication skills to coordinate effectively with production teams, artists, vendors, and local authorities.
- Budgeting skills to manage location costs, track expenses, and support cost-efficient planning.
- Training and mentoring abilities to guide on-site staff and support the development of junior team members.
- Experience in film, television, or media production, preferably in a location management or production coordination role.
- Solid organizational and time management skills, with the ability to handle multiple locations and tight production schedules.
- Knowledge of local regulations and permitting processes in Valencia, or willingness to learn quickly.
- Ability to work on-site for extended hours when required, including evenings and weekends during active productions.
- Proficiency in Spanish; English or additional languages are an advantage.
- Relevant education or training in film production, media, event management, or a related field is beneficial.
