We are currently looking for a Senior Software Engineer (Java & Spring) who enjoys building scalable, cloud-native applications while working in a collaborative Agile and DevOps environment to join one of our strategic international projects within the banking sector .

Hybrid model: Attendance at the client's offices in central Madrid 3 days per week is required. Collaborate within cross-functional Agile teams following a DevOps-centric delivery model. Design, develop, test, deploy, release, and monitor business-critical applications.

Participate actively in code reviews and champion software quality best practices. Partner with Solution Architects to design scalable and maintainable software aligned with enterprise architecture guidelines. Implement automated testing strategies using TDD and BDD practices.

Deploy and manage applications in Kubernetes-based environments. Strong experience in Java development and Spring Boot .





Experience working with Oracle SQL databases. Hands‑on experience with Kubernetes , Docker , and Helm . Knowledge of cloud‑native application deployment and management, preferably in Azure environments.

Experience with GitLab , Jenkins , and CI/CD practices. Strong understanding of DevOps principles and automated testing. Proven experience working with Test‑Driven Development (TDD) and/or Behavior‑Driven Development (BDD) .

Experience participating in Agile software development teams. Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent professional experience. C1 English level .

Experience with Kafka and event‑driven architectures. Passion for software craftsmanship, engineering best practices, and continuous improvement.
