In this role, you will help build and evolve ourdata platform ,owning key pipelinesanddata productsfrom end to end and contributing to theengineering decisionsthat shape them.Your main goal will be todesign, build, and maintain reliable data pipelinesacross ouroperational databasesandanalytical platform, applyingquality software engineering practicesto everything you ship. You will collaborate closely with theproduct teamandbackend engineers, and work directly withbusiness stakeholderswho depend onaccurate, timely datato driveproduct decisions .This role is well suited for someone withstrong skills in Python and SQL ,solid software engineering fundamentals, hands‑on experience buildingproduction data pipelinesin aproduct or platform team, and a passion for managing work across thefull data cycle, fromoperational to analytical systems .Main responsibilities:Design, build, and maintainscalable, reliable, and well-testeddata pipelinesanddata products .Manage features and pipelines end-to-end : fromschema designinoperational databasesthroughingestion ,transformation, anddelivery of analytical datasets .Contribute to thearchitectureof ourdata platformand help evaluatetechnical trade-offswith the team.Apply and help improve standards fordata modeling ,data quality ,testing,



andcode review .Work withProduct ,Engineering, andbusiness stakeholdersto turn requirements intowell-scoped data solutions .Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolvepipeline incidents, and improveobservabilityandreliabilityover time.Share knowledgewith the team andmentor fellow engineersthroughpairingandcode reviews .Main requirements:Proficiency inPythonfor data engineering: buildingrobust ETL/ELT pipelinesandreusable modules, withstrong testing(e.G., pytest) andgood observability .Strong SQL skills with PostgreSQL : complex query design, performance tuning, indexing, and reading execution plans for both OLTP and OLAP workloads.Hands‑on experience with dbt : building, testing, and documenting models, ideally in a layered (e.G., medallion) project structure.Experience withDagster(or similar orchestrators such as Airflow): building assets/jobs, scheduling, monitoring, and handling failures in production workflows.Working knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes : packaging and running data services and batch jobs in production.Solid grasp of data modeling : dimensional modeling and an understanding of the trade‑offs between operational and analytical schemas.Nice to have:Experience withAWS(S3, EKS, Secrets Manager).Experience withdatabase schema migration tools(such as Liquibase) ordata contracts .SalaryAt Qualifyze, our salary ranges are transparent internally, and we aim to follow a similar approach externally. For this role, we’re happy to share a reference point within the band: the expected salary range is around60.000€ – 70.000 €,
