About the Role

Our client, a prominent financial services institution, is seeking a highly analytical and experienced Senior Business Analyst to join their team in Queenstown, Eastern Cape. This role is pivotal in bridging the gap between business needs and technology solutions, ensuring that IT projects align with strategic objectives and deliver tangible value. You will be responsible for eliciting, analyzing, documenting, and validating business requirements for complex projects, as well as facilitating communication between business stakeholders and the technical development teams. The adecuado candidate will possess a strong understanding of business processes, excellent analytical skills, and a proven track record of successfully delivering business analysis services in a corporate environment. Key Responsibilities

- Elicit, analyze, document, and manage business requirements using various techniques (e.g., interviews, workshops, surveys, process analysis).

- Translate business needs into clear, concise, and comprehensive functional and non-functional specifications.

- Develop process flows, use cases, user stories, and data models to represent business requirements.

- Collaborate closely with stakeholders across business units to validate requirements and ensure alignment with project goals.





- Work with development and QA teams to ensure requirements are understood and implemented correctly.

- Facilitate UAT (User Acceptance Testing) and support the deployment of solutions.

- Identify opportunities for process improvements and recommend solutions to enhance business efficiency.

- Manage requirements traceability throughout the project lifecycle.

- Contribute to project planning and risk assessment from a business analysis perspective.

- Mentor junior business analysts and share best practices.

Requirements

- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.

- 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, preferably within the financial services industry.

- Proven experience in eliciting, documenting, and managing complex business requirements.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Excellent understanding of business processes and system analysis.

- Proficiency in using business analysis tools and methodologies (e.g., UML, BPMN).

- Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.

- Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies is highly desirable.

- Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and diverse stakeholders.

- Relevant certifications (e.g., CBAP, CCBA) are a plus.
