Non- ExemptQualificationsDegree from accredited nursing program.Licensure as registered nurse. Current PALS and ACLS certificationMinimum of 1 years work experience as a staff nurse preferred.OCCUPATIONAL EXPOSURECategory I exposure to bloodborne pathogens, frequent exposure to chemical hazards and may encounter radiation hazards.ResponsibilitiesDuties of Pre-op RN opening Pre-op area for the day include:Readies the area to receive patients.Assesses physical and emotional needs of patients and implements appropriate.Nursing Interventions.
