About the role

Rove Next is a new premium line from Rove Concepts , a Vancouver-based modern furniture brand selling direct to consumer across Canada and the US. Rove Next launches with improved versions of our best-selling pieces, and it needs its own voice across social media. We're looking for a taste-driven Social Media Content Creator to own our weekly content engine across Instagram and TikTok, with Pinterest experience considered an asset. This is a hands-on creative role where you'll plan, create, edit, publish, and optimise content that reflects a premium home and lifestyle brand. This isn't a coordination role. We need someone who can consistently ship high-quality content, understands what performs on social, and uses AI and modern creative tools to work efficiently.

Scope

Initially focused on Rove Next, with room to expand across the Rove Concepts group as the brand grows.

What you'll own

- Planning weekly content calendars around product launches, campaigns, seasonal initiatives, and relevant trends.
- Writing compelling hooks, captions, and story scripts in clear, premium English.
- Creating short-form video concepts and delivering polished Reels, TikToks, and Stories.
- Repurposing content across multiple formats and platforms.




- Scheduling posts and managing community engagement.
- Monitoring weekly performance and continuously improving content based on results.

Weekly deliverables

- 4-6 short-form videos.
- 6-10 Instagram Stories.
- 2-4 static posts or carousel posts.
- A weekly performance recap with recommendations and adjustments for the following week.

Must-haves

- A strong portfolio showcasing short-form video content you've personally created and edited.
- Excellent creative judgment with a taste level suited to premium retail, furniture, interiors, or lifestyle brands.
- Ability to work with provided assets while also sourcing or creating UGC-style content when appropriate.
- Experience editing in CapCut, Premiere Pro, or similar software.
- Fluent, native-level English, written and spoken.
- Reliable, organized, and able to consistently meet weekly content deadlines.

Nice to have

- Experience creating content for furniture, home décor, or premium lifestyle brands.
- Pinterest experience.
- Experience incorporating AI tools into content ideation, editing, scripting, or production workflows.
- Photography or videography experience.

What success looks like

Content is delivered consistently, on time, and reflects a premium brand aesthetic. Engagement and audience growth improve through thoughtful creative execution rather than chasing trends. Content production becomes increasingly efficient through the effective use of AI and modern creative tools.
